Acer Aspire V5-571 laptop screen replacement procedure

The first step is to cut the notebook power supply (remove the battery). This step is mandatory, because the matrix is constantly supplied with 18 volts, and the moment you connect the new matrix, all the electronics might burn.

Then we need to open the screen frame-cover. Gently begin to open the frame-cover at the angles using the pick. The cover is not secured by any bolt and is only attached with snaps. One must be cautious not to damage any of them.

Now unscrew matrix bolts.

Remove the matrix and gently unhook the cable.

Now unpack the new matrix.

Connect the cable.

Now place the screen where it belongs.

Snap the frame-cover.
